Colombian President Threatens Trump with 'Anti-American Rebellion'

In Latin America, an anti-American rebellion could erupt if the United States does not reconsider its policies in the region. This statement was made by Colombian President Gustavo Petro during a Latin American summit held in Barcelona. The leaders of Spain, Brazil, and Mexico were also present at the meeting.

According to Petro, the attack on Caracas and the kidnapping of Maduro were intended to scare other Latin American leaders. However, he warned that this could backfire.

"This is a system that resembles that of the Spanish king several centuries ago. And what was Latin America's response? Rebellion. This is what will happen now if the U.S. government fails to reconsider its relationships with Latin America," said Petro.
