Nikol Pashinyan Issues Statement
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made a statement: “Dear citizens, on Sunday, April 19, we will celebrate the opening of the North-South highway segment from Ashtarak to Gyumri with a large motorcade. You can register for participation via the QR code provided below. Naturally, you must attend with a vehicle, but passengers can also be in the car.
Moreover, it is necessary to have at least one passenger in the ‘guide’ role, as the motorcade will be streamed live on my Facebook page, and the guide must sit in the passenger seat next to the driver to follow the stream and relay information to the driver.
Only registered vehicles will be considered participants in the motorcade. The participation of service vehicles in the motorcade is prohibited, except for vehicles serving individuals under state protection. Registered drivers will be informed about the start time and location via a phone call.
The plan is as follows: we will go to Gyumri, visit museums, churches, cafes, restaurants, stroll around Gyumri, and interact with the community. At 17:00, there will be a concert at Vardanants Square, where the ‘Varchabend’ will also perform.
The return will not be part of the motorcade. Let’s spend a great day together in Gyumri,” Pashinyan announced.
