The latest court session in the case of Samuel Karapetyan is open to the public. This is reported by abcmedia. Present in the courtroom are Samuel Karapetyan's son, his brother Karen Karapetyan, and other relatives.

It is remembered that on June 17, 2025, a search was conducted at Samuel Karapetyan's house after he publicly expressed support for the Armenian Apostolic Church, emphasizing that a small group, forgetting the history of the Armenians and the millennia-old history of the Armenian Church, attacked the Armenian Church and the Armenian people. Karapetyan was arrested on June 18.

On October 13, it became known that Samuel Karapetyan's charges had been changed, with the addition of charges under part 2 and 3 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code, which involves the use of official or service powers or influence derived from them to engage in large-scale money laundering.
