New Motion in Samvel Karapetyan's Case

The prosecutor has requested to extend the house arrest of Samvel Karapetyan for another three months. This was reported by 'Azatutyun'.

Lawyer Aram Vardevanyan stated: 'They approached the court only yesterday to change Karapetyan's house arrest. He said that every minute is crucial for them, so that Samvel Karapetyan can be released from house arrest and they can work on the list submitted to the CEC.'

Lawyer Aram Vardevanyan, presenting their motion, said that Karapetyan is currently unable to participate in the formation of the electoral list. Soon, the party congress will take place, which should approve the first 30 names and their order on the electoral list.

It is noteworthy that currently, the case of Samvel Karapetyan is being heard in the Anti-Corruption Court.
