Iran Assesses Damage Inflicted by the US and Israel
The Iranian government representative, Fatemeh Mohajerani, stated that the initial damages incurred by the country due to the actions of the US and Israel are estimated at around 270 billion dollars. According to the official, this declared figure is not final, as the clarification of the calculations requires a multi-stage professional assessment. In the initial phase, it is planned to inventory the direct damages to buildings and infrastructure.
Subsequently, a deep analysis of economic losses will be conducted, which will include the impacts of the shutdown of industrial enterprises and the lost revenues for the state budget. The issue of military reparations has already been discussed on international platforms, particularly during negotiations held in Islamabad last week. Mohajerani emphasized that Tehran will remain consistent in defending the rights of its citizens.
The Iranian authorities intend to utilize all international legal mechanisms to obtain economic compensation and also hold accountable for human casualties, including those from the tragic incidents at the Minab school.
