Heavy Precipitation Expected in the Form of Snow and Rain; Temperature Will Decrease
On April 13, significant precipitation is expected across many regions of the Republic of Armenia, with heavy rainfall in some areas. In mountainous and pre-mountainous areas, precipitation will manifest as snow, while in valley regions, it will be in the form of rain. Isolated thunderstorms are also anticipated. Winds will come from the southwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
The air temperature during the day on April 13 and at night on April 14 will decrease by 5-7 degrees, and from April 15 to 17, it will gradually rise by 9-13 degrees especially during the daytime.
In Yerevan, intermittent precipitation is expected on April 13, with snow mixed with rain in the higher-altitude areas and rain in the lower areas, with a possibility of thunderstorms. Levon Azizyan, the director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, noted on social media that the rainfall in Yerevan on April 12 and 13 will be equal to the normal amount for April. The air temperature in the capital is expected to be 6-8 degrees during the day today and 4-6 degrees in the evening.
