VIDEO: Lebanese Missile Site Targeting Israel
The Israel Defense Forces announced that during a nighttime operation, a missile site located in Lebanon was destroyed, which was prepared to launch towards Israel. According to military sources, the target was identified before the strike, after which a rapid operation was conducted to prevent a potential launch.
The military's press service noted that the strike was carried out shortly after the identification, successfully averting a missile launch towards Israel. No further details about the operation have been reported.
At the same time, it has been revealed that a preliminary phase of Lebanese-Israeli talks is scheduled for April 14 in Washington, facilitated by the United States. During the meeting, it is expected that timelines will be agreed upon for the initiation of future peace negotiations aimed at achieving a ceasefire. The delegations will be led by the ambassadors of Lebanon and Israel in the United States.
