Netanyahu Announces Own Strategy for Disarming Hamas

During a meeting with government members, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the state would carry out the process of disarming Hamas by its own means. According to the head of the executive, relying on foreign assistance or forming an international coalition is ineffective.

The Prime Minister justified his approach by citing examples from previous geopolitical events. He specifically referenced former U.S. President Donald Trump's experience, when efforts to form a coalition to open the Strait of Hormuz were unsuccessful. According to Netanyahu, this incident illustrates that creating stable international organizations to solve similar geopolitical problems is complicated.

Netanyahu emphasized that if it is difficult for superpowers to form coalitions on regional issues, then a complex problem like disarming Hamas also requires an individual approach. Therefore, Israel intends to act according to its own strategy, without expecting direct involvement from international multilateral forces.
