Israeli Armed Forces Placed on High Combat Readiness

The Israeli Defense Forces' General Staff has issued an order to prepare for the possible resumption of military operations with Iran. The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Eyal Zamir, has directed the troops to be brought to a high level of combat readiness. According to information released by Israeli media, this decision was made in the context of the risks of a renewed military clash with Iran.

The military command has instructed to implement a special protocol that includes a reduction in operational response time and the concentration of all available resources. The order comes against the backdrop of failed negotiations in Islamabad. The discussions between the United States and Iran held on April 11-12, aimed at halting military activities, yielded no results.

In the current situation, the Israeli military leadership has deemed it prudent to accelerate operational planning processes and eliminate existing gaps in troop readiness. Presently, a special combat protocol is in effect in all units of the Israeli armed forces. A similar regime was also applied during military operations against Iran in 2025-2026.

The Defense Ministry is now focused on enhancing cooperation among different types of troops and improving the ability to take immediate actions in any scenario.
