IRGC Naval Forces' Stern Statement

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has issued a warning about the use of force in response to attempts by foreign military vessels to transit through the Strait of Hormuz.

The naval forces of the IRGC released an official statement, cautioning about the possible consequences of military movements through the strategic strait. Tehran has declared its readiness to respond decisively and sternly to any attempts that could disrupt the established norms of regional security.

According to the published document, the IRGC units are currently exercising complete and 'intelligent control' over the strait. The Iranian side emphasizes that this strategic waterway is open solely to non-military vessels, whose passage is regulated by specifically established procedures.
