Iranian Side Reveals Details on Negotiations

The main disagreements pertain to the safety and control of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. has proposed new schemes for the protection of ships and the escort of tankers, along with other initiatives of an economic and military nature. These proposals are viewed as an attempt to restore positions that Washington has been unable to consolidate in the context of tensions and threats from previous weeks.
