US President Donald Trump has announced that Iran, according to reports, may collect fees from oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz and has urged an end to this practice.
In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, he stated that such actions should not be carried out. Trump added that if the information is accurate, Iran must immediately cease the collection of fees.
