Trump is Urged to Confront Netanyahu

US President Donald Trump is urged to take a stronger stance against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions to maintain a ceasefire with Iran, said Democratic Congressman James McGovern on the social media platform X.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Netanyahu referred to the ceasefire in Iran as merely a stop on his path to achieving his goals, threatening to resume military operations.

“Netanyahu's ongoing bombings in Lebanon, which have killed civilians for weeks, threaten to plunge the region into deep chaos and disrupt the ceasefire. Trump needs to confront Netanyahu,” he wrote.
