Putin Announces Easter Ceasefire
Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a ceasefire in honor of Easter. According to the Kremlin, the ceasefire will begin on April 11 at 16:00 Moscow time and will remain in effect until the end of April 12.
Official sources indicate that the decision is related to the Easter holiday, although no details have been provided regarding the implementation and monitoring mechanisms. The Kremlin also noted that a ceasefire was declared for three days during Easter in 2025, from April 19 to 21, when Putin emphasized that troops must be prepared for possible violations.
According to the president, prior to this, the Ukrainian side had repeatedly violated the agreement not to strike energy infrastructure, with more than 100 recorded incidents.
