Araghchin Issues Statement

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchin has stated that Tehran is prepared for a scenario in which the U.S. allows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to obstruct the diplomatic process. He made this remark on the social media platform X while addressing the regional situation and Washington's potential choices.

According to Araghchin, the ongoing criminal trial against Netanyahu will resume this Sunday. He also mentioned that a ceasefire agreement encompassing the entire region, including towards Lebanon, could expedite the legal proceedings against the Israeli Prime Minister, linking military and political developments.

He added that if the U.S. decides to “destroy its own economy” by allowing Netanyahu to “bury diplomacy,” it will be Washington's choice. At the same time, Araghchin emphasized that Iran considers such an option to be reckless, but stated that the country is prepared for this situation.
