VIDEO: Minister of Internal Affairs on Theoretical and Practical Driving Tests

Auroranews.am has received numerous questions from listeners, which we directed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan.

One listener inquired, “Is it possible to have more than one department of the Investigative Committee in Yerevan to slightly reduce the queues for obtaining a driver's license?”

“Yes, the queues have increasingly intensified. Last year, we conducted theoretical and practical tests in approximately 138,000 cases, and by 2025, that number will exceed 220,000,” the minister stated.
