Rainfall Expected to Resume: Threat of Wet Snow and Strong Winds

In Yerevan, a brief rain is possible during the daytime on April 8. Between April 9-13, sporadic rain is expected, along with the possibility of thunderstorms. On April 9-10, wind speeds may increase to 14-18 m/s.

This information has been reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

During the day on April 8, isolated regions of the Republic may experience brief precipitation. From April 9-13, there will be periodic rain in many areas, with snow and wet snow forecasted in mountainous and certain pre-mountain regions on April 9-10 and April 12-13, while valley regions will see rain. Isolated areas may also encounter thunderstorms.

The wind will be southwest at 2-5 m/s, with expected gusts of up to 24-27 m/s in certain areas on April 9-10. In mountainous regions, blizzards, low horizontal visibility, and icy roads are also anticipated.

The air temperature is expected to drop by 5-7 degrees during the day on April 9 and at night on April 10.
