Defense Ministry Sends Signal to KP Member Tigran Abrahamyan

“The tragicomedy registered yesterday in the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee contained multiple layers, ranging from acute intra-governmental confrontation to deep issues within the army,” wrote Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the NA ‘Honorary Title’ faction on his Facebook page.

“The authorities do not tolerate those within their ranks who speak about the failures of the ruling regime, negative dynamics in various directions, and the escalating situation. The only thing the Ministry of Defense did was send a signal that the KP deputy is touching upon confidential information, implying that voicing the deep problems of the army could bring the latter into the realm of legal responsibility,” Tigran Abrahamyan noted.
