Aggressive Approach Suffered Defeat, Says Zakharova

The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the ceasefire between the US and Iran, stating that the aggressive unprovoked attack approach has suffered a defeat.

In an interview on the airwaves of "Sputnik" radio, Zakharova remarked that the approach had failed. She said, "All those statements made about the importance of being more aggressive, about the importance of being more offensive, and that victory is just around the corner – this stance has again suffered a crushing defeat. In essence, so has this one-track aggressive unprovoked attack approach."
