Blizzard Expected Across the Republic in the Form of Snow: Weather Forecast for the Coming Days

Due to the intrusion of a cold front from the northwest, precipitation is expected throughout the republic on April 9-10, with snow anticipated in Shirak, Gegharkunik, Lori, the foothills of Tavush, and the mountainous regions of Kotayk, Aragatsotn, and Vayots Dzor. This information comes from the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.

During these days, an increase in snow cover of 20-50 cm is forecasted for the mentioned areas, along with blizzards, low horizontal visibility, and icy roads. From April 8-10, gusty winds are expected in some regions, with speeds reaching 24-27 m/s.
