VIDEO: "Shura, ask who Panikovsky was before the revolution" - Alen Simonyan

“So, this Malyan, who considers himself a serious political technologist at their house, gives an interview and, between talking about books and motorcycles, instead of discussing impeachment or his work with Vova Gasparyan, decides to remember me. He recalls me purely for the sake of justifying himself and telling how important a figure he was before the revolution. Yes, yes, exactly how Panikovsky kept saying in the 'Golden Calf' - 'Shura! You go and ask who Panikovsky was before the revolution,’” writes National Assembly President Alen Simonyan, referring to the interview given by political technologist Narek Malyan to 24TV.

“He is telling nonsense to make himself seem significant, but in this story, he forgets to mention that before the presentation of his book, for almost a month, he was either in front of my house or on the phone with me, asking for help to find funds for the printing of the book. And when he was rejected by the owner of 'Araratnews,' to whom I had turned for that issue, he began writing statuses every day against the construction of 'Russia Mall' - to take revenge for not getting money (he wanted $3,000-$5,000). He also forgets that the current ambassador of the RF, who is an old friend of mine, helped him a little on behalf of my name regarding that book, and so on, and so forth... I have never had the idea of leaving the CPP, since during those years we participated with the 'YELQ' alliance. I was the 5th in the CPP list, while I participated in a majoritarian electoral system, and in the Central-Erebuni-Nork-Marash-Nubarashen constituency, I received the second most votes after Nikol Pashinyan. As a result, one year after the revolution, when Nikol Pashinyan became Prime Minister, I became a deputy of the 6th convocation of the National Assembly.

PS: I have told you - give my name less; life is not your two unsold fairy tale books. You still have to answer for calling for physical revenge against me in Moscow after November 9, despite coming to my house and being friends with me. If you have something to tell, say it! I will explain who you were before the revolution for a long time,” wrote Simonyan. The aforementioned part of the interview can be seen in the video.
