Iran Rejects US Proposal
Iran has rejected the temporary ceasefire proposal put forward by the United States and instead called for a complete ceasefire. This was reported by the Irna agency, citing official sources.
According to reports, Tehran communicated its position through mediators, sending a message via Pakistan. The Iranian side emphasized that a temporary halt is deemed insufficient and prioritizes the complete resolution of the conflict.
The agency reports that Iran's response also includes a number of conditions. Among these are the development of safe passage mechanisms through the Strait of Hormuz, issues regarding the country's post-war recovery, and the lifting of sanctions imposed against Iran.
It is noted that the demands put forward by Tehran are viewed as necessary conditions for reaching a potential agreement; however, a final response regarding them has yet to be published.
