Tragic Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province: One Dead and Several Injured

On April 5, an emergency call was received by the operational management center of Aragatsotn Province regarding a traffic accident that occurred on the 59th km of the Hartavan-Apnagyu Highway, involving several vehicles. There was a report of a citizen trapped.

A firefighting-rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that vehicles of the VAZ and KIA brands were involved in the collision.

The driver of the VAZ vehicle was hospitalized, where doctors confirmed the death. Rescuers disconnected the power supply of the vehicles, shut off the gas valve of the KIA vehicle, and assisted three citizens into an ambulance. The injured were hospitalized in a medical center.
