Zelensky Proposes Ukraine's Involvement in the Process

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Kyiv is discussing the possibility of assisting partners in restoring operations in the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, Ukraine is ready to get involved in the process, based on the experience gained from the resumption of the grain corridor in the Black Sea.

Zelensky noted that this concerns not only the restoration of the strait's operations but also ensuring its security. Various means may be employed for this purpose, including drones, naval escort forces, and electronic warfare systems.

He added that Ukraine is prepared to contribute to such an initiative; however, no official request has been received at this time.
