Foolishness Is Not Easily Cured: Zakharova's Harsh Response
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has stated that the head of EU diplomacy, Kaia Kallas, has once again embarrassed the EU with her foolishness by repeating accusations directed at Russia regarding 'attacks' on 19 countries over the last 100 years, including Africa.
She reminded in her Telegram post about Kallas' words from 2025, in which she claimed that Russia allegedly attacked 19 countries in the past century. Now, according to Zakharova, the head of EU diplomacy has repeated the same statement, but this time she added Africa to the list of supposed victims of Russian aggression.
“Kallas has once again disgraced the European Union... Foolishness is not easily cured,” wrote the diplomat in response to Kallas' remarks. Zakharova also emphasized that over the past 100 years, it was the EU and NATO countries that left a bloody mark in Africa. According to her, representatives of these countries refrained from voting on a resolution condemning transatlantic slave trade in the UN General Assembly on March 25.
“In January, Kallas admitted her great love for reading, even promising to 'become very smart.' She should consider adding the collective monograph 'Colonialism, Neocolonialism, Decolonization: Research Experiments and Contemporary Discourse' to her educational books collection. Perhaps she will truly become smarter. But that is not certain,” Zakharova concluded.
