Is This Not Special? Only Armenians Are Allowed to Protest in Russia Says Alexanderian
Armenians in Russia continue to be the only group allowed to hold rallies and gatherings within the territory of the Russian Federation. This was stated by MP Vahagan Alexanderian on his Facebook page.
“Of course, this happens only on the days of visits by Armenian officials and against them, but nothing changes—this is a fantastic positive attitude towards the Armenian community, for which I want to thank our Russian colleagues once again. Honestly, friends, imagine, NO OTHER group, absolutely NO group is allowed, on any issue, against anyone, yet Armenians are permitted to protest against the authorities of Armenia. Is this not special? Is this not a clearly positive attitude?” wrote Alexanderian.
Recall that videos circulated on Telegram show that in one of the hotels in Moscow, Nikol Pashinyan was called a traitor. “Mr. Pashinyan, you are a traitor,” shouted a woman as Pashinyan was entering the hotel. Another video circulating shows a man from Artsakh offering to take a picture with Pashinyan and stating he wanted his children to know who surrendered Karabakh. “I want my children to take a picture with you, Mr. Pashinyan. You know why I want them to take a picture with you? So they know who surrendered Karabakh, who split the church,” said the man from Artsakh.
