Strategic Partnership: What to Expect from the Pashinyan-Putin Meeting
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will meet in Moscow on April 1. According to the Kremlin press service, Pashinyan will visit the Russian capital on a working visit. This was announced by the Kremlin.
“During the negotiations, a wide range of issues regarding the further development of Russian-Armenian relations is expected to be addressed. The agenda includes the current state and prospects of strategic partnership and allied relations. The parties will also touch upon integration cooperation in the Eurasian space. Armenia is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and the development of trade and economic ties in this format remains a priority for both countries.
In addition, it is expected that the current issues of the regional agenda will be discussed during the meeting, including the development of economic and transport-logistical ties in the South Caucasus,” the statement said.
