VIDEO. It’s a Cynical Lie: Pashinyan on the Claims of the 'Three-Headed Party'

"The Three-Headed Party of Kocharyan-Karapetyan-Sarukyan is trying to convince us that there was peace before 2024-2025, and also before 2018. This claim is a cynical lie," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated today, noting that since independence and even after the 1994 ceasefire, we have had hundreds of casualties and significant numbers of wounded every year.

“In the preceding period, we never had peace; instead, we had a postponement of war... 2025 is the first calendar year in which we did not have casualties and wounded as a result of skirmishes with Azerbaijan. Essentially, we did not have casualties or wounded since March 2024. In reality, peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been established and has a de jure confirmation through the adoption of the regulations for the joint activities of the boundary delimitation commissions of the two countries in 2024, which were signed by the Deputy Prime Ministers of both countries, and that document was ratified through the proper procedures, gaining the highest legal force.

This deviation from such logic, pursued by the Kocharyan-Karapetyan-Sarukyan three-headed party, undoubtedly and unequivocally indicates war, with all the ensuing consequences,” the Prime Minister added, stating, “The time is coming, and that time is June 7, 2026, for the citizens of Armenia to stand up for their peace.”
