Pashinyan's Struggle is Against Memory and Our Roots - Edmon Marukyan

“Pashinyan's struggle is against memory and our roots,” wrote Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia party, alongside a published video.

“And this will lead to the fact that we all will have the opportunity to simply live here, but not with the status of homeowners. Pashinyan says, 'Forget, do not remember, this is a taboo,' while Azerbaijan is forming a false memory. We are told that when we talk about a large number of Azerbaijanis coming to live in Armenia, we are sowing fear. As if we should only talk about good things in order to be elected. For example, let’s say pensions will be raised to $60,000... We are losing the state, we are losing our homeland. Shouldn't we talk about that? Shouldn't we say that we need to fight and not allow this? These are not ordinary elections; this is not an ordinary situation. The person is essentially saying, 'You should be cattle because it is cattle that has no memory,'” Marukyan wrote.
