I Bet 1 Billion Dollars: Ruben Rubinyan to Narek Karapetyan

Ruben Rubinyan, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, has publicly responded to the son of the former chief of staff of Serzh Sargsyan and the cousin of a Russian oligarch, announcing that people will not be voting for anyone else but for Samvel Karapetyan as the next Prime Minister of Armenia after the elections. This information was shared on his Facebook page.

“I publicly accept the bet and insist that after the elections, regardless of the outcomes, even if they gather 100% of the votes, they will not be voting for Samvel Karapetyan as the next Prime Minister, but for another person. I bet 1 billion dollars on it. The condition is the following: if they lose, the 1 billion dollars must be immediately transferred to the state budget of the Republic of Armenia, meaning it goes to the people. If I lose, I will do whatever they write on a white paper, even if it says 'commit suicide,' I will do it. I'm giving them 12 hours to publicly confirm the bet. If they don’t confirm by the evening, I will record that they are air, just like all their statements,” stated Rubinyan.

It is noteworthy that during a meeting with citizens, Narek Karapetyan, the chairman of the 'Strong Armenia' party council, said, “Our strength will vote for Samvel Karapetyan as the next Prime Minister of Armenia. Whoever doubts, let them say that Narek is betting, whatever bet they want, let them say, and you will take the bet after winning.”
