Criminal Proceedings Initiated for Hooliganism Related to Incident Near National Assembly
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against Mikael Margaryan for hooliganism in relation to the submission of a report by the investigative commission examining the circumstances of the 44-day war. This was reported to Aurora News by the Investigative Committee.
According to the information received from the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mikael Margaryan used information and communication technologies to conduct hooligan actions via live broadcast, notably demonstrating open disrespect towards society and openly disregarding moral norms, including shouting obscene expressions.
“Based on the report, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 297, Part 2, Clause 3 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed using information or communication technologies). A pre-trial investigation is underway,” the statement noted.
It is worth recalling that following the tense situation created in front of the National Assembly on March 26, two individuals were arrested on Demirchyan Street.
