When we talk about return, we do not allow those people to settle down and find peace. Nikol Pashinyan

“I condemn all those tendencies aimed at keeping our compatriots displaced from Artsakh and, in general, the Armenian people in a status of exiles,” said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government session today.

“When we talk about the agenda of return, we do not allow those people to find peace and settle down, because peace is not just a contract; peace means that a person finds calm, realizes that there is nothing more brutal than waiting. However, we, as a people, have been living with that expectation for more than a hundred years, and this is an imperial policy, an anti-Armenian, non-Armenian imperial policy,” Pashinyan noted, emphasizing that this policy has two goals: “to keep the Armenian people in the consciousness of exiles and to prevent the Republic of Armenia from establishing itself as a state.”
