The Prosecutor's Office has addressed the recent protests held by the family members of Tigran Mathevosyan, accused of murdering minor Robert Rubenian, and provided details in an interview with the media. They report that the criminal case against Tigran Mathevosyan and others related to the murder of minor Robert Rubenian was sent to court on August 7, 2025.

While not disclosing the entire content of the case, it is noted that the protestor Tigran Mathevosyan, along with accomplices Arman Mathevosyan and Lyova Manukyan, allegedly stabbed minor Robert Rubenian in the chest with a knife, resulting in his death.

The statement further highlights that the investigative actions carried out during the pre-trial investigation, involving testimonies from victims, witnesses, and defendants, as well as examination reports from the crime scene, video reviews, and expert conclusions, have substantiated the actions of the accused. The credibility of witness and victim testimonies has been assessed in conjunction with other obtained evidence.

All circumstances subject to proof have been clarified during the pre-trial investigation, and the gathered evidence has been evaluated in terms of relevance, admissibility, and reliability, leading to the confirmation of the facts regarding the commission of the crime. Based on these grounds, the accused have been arrested, and charges have been brought against them, the legality of which and the presence of substantiated suspicions have also been affirmed by the courts when discussing requests to apply detention as a measure of restraint.
