Under the Leadership of Samvel Karapetyan, We Will Have a Place in the Sun: Narek Karapetyan

By consolidating our nation’s full potential and focusing on security programs, under the leadership of Samvel Karapetyan, we will have a place in the sun. This was stated by Narek Karapetyan, a member of the council of the ‘Strong Armenia’ party, during the International Conference on ‘Strong Peace’ held in Jermuk.

“We are in a place, Jermuk, which is located 5 km away from foreign armed forces on Armenia’s sovereign territory. The guarantee of Armenia's security has a crucial radical significance for long-term security and peace; Jermuk is a vivid example of this.

The international security system is undergoing profound transformations. The world that emerged after World War II no longer exists, new systems have yet to be formed, and the institutions that were supposed to ensure justice among nations and states are currently faltering and losing their credibility. In this period, it is extremely important to possess both defensive potential and diplomatic strategies, so that we can stand firm and have our place under the sun. The next 10 years will determine which country and which nation will have a place in the sun.

I assure you that by consolidating our security programs, our diplomatic approaches, and the full potential of our nation under the leadership of Samvel Karapetyan, we will have a place in the sun. Security has always been a priority for our nation, and today it is undermined. Our security program includes 6 points: the first point is strong diplomacy, which will bring long-term peace to Armenia; the second is the transformation of the army; the third is a protected sky; and the fourth is intelligent borders,” he emphasized.
