The US Presents Iran with a 15-Point Proposal

US representatives and mediators are discussing holding high-level negotiations with Iran on March 26. According to Axios, if the meeting is confirmed, US Vice President J.D. Vance may also participate.

Sources indicate that Washington has conveyed a 15-point proposal to Tehran as part of a potential agreement. This proposal includes some demands previously presented in Geneva. It reportedly pertains to Iran's commitment to reduce its stockpile of highly enriched uranium, strengthen UN oversight, limit the range of ballistic missiles, and reduce support for allied forces.

Israeli sources note that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is concerned about the possible agreement, as it may not align with Israel's objectives. At the same time, the American administration acknowledges that communication channels with Iran remain unstable, and the decision-making process in Tehran is complex.

Washington is awaiting Iran's response. Reports suggest that the mediators proposed a temporary ceasefire to conduct detailed negotiations; however, the White House has rejected that option.
