I Advise to Accept the Status of ‘Burnout’: Arayik Harutyunyan to Robert Kocharian
Yesterday, Robert Kocharian once again referred to the 44-day war during a podcast (to be read with a warrior's voice). He remains unsettled after the 2021 elections, as he had promised to wear down Prime Minister Pashinyan, yet he himself has arrived at the 2026 elections in a weakened state. The question is whether he will have several mandates on June 7 or not,” wrote Arayik Harutyunyan, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office of Armenia, on his Facebook page.
“I advise to accept the status of ‘burnout.’ I am sure that Kocharian is happy that he may not even have a faction. After all, one of his representatives begged to withdraw from this process, but the developments showed they weren’t allowed to. Now he will have a legitimate reason for ‘exit’ and can engage in his favorite pastime – hunting muflons,” Harutyunyan wrote.
