Fire Breaks Out at Abandoned 'Kanaz' Cultural House

A fire alert was received on Freedom Avenue in Yerevan.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on March 25, at 19:12, an emergency call was received about a fire that had occurred in one of the buildings on Freedom Avenue in Yerevan.

Responding to the complexity of the fire, a '1 BIS' call was issued, and four fire-fighting units from the Fire and Rescue Department of Yerevan were dispatched to the scene, along with a duty group from the Department for Organization of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Operations.

Due to the fire's complexity, a 'Type 3 Alarm' was declared, and six additional fire-fighting units were sent to the location.
