It Is an Exaggeration to Say Peace Between Armenia and Azerbaijan Is Cloudless: Mirzoyan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, spoke about Armenian-Azerbaijani relations during the regular session of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, emphasizing that the text of the peace agreement has already been agreed upon.
“To say that all issues are resolved, that there are no problems, and that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is cloudless is an exaggeration. After all, there has been a decades-long conflict, so much blood has been shed, the wounds are still fresh, and we still have individuals held in Baku,” stated Ararat Mirzoyan, adding that animosity between the parties is gradually decreasing at the level of societies, the authorities of the two countries, and representatives.
He emphasized that numerous humanitarian issues remain, including the matter of clarifying the fates of missing persons.
