North Korean Leader Tours in Tank with Daughter

The Korean Central News Agency reports that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un toured a modern tank with his daughter during a visit to a training base.

Photos released by the agency show Kim Jong Un on top of the tank's armor alongside military personnel. He is seen sitting on the side of the vehicle, while his daughter is inside the tank. The vehicle displays the flag of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

It is noted that Kim Jong Un visited the 60th training base of the capital defense corps of the Korean People's Army, where he observed tactical drills for combined infantry and tank units.

The drills were reported to include special forces units, a mechanized unit from the operational reserve of the general staff, as well as a tank squadron from a cavalry regiment. According to the agency, combat drones executed strikes on command posts and anti-tank firing positions of a simulated enemy, based on intelligence data received in real-time.

Mechanized units' anti-tank missiles successfully hit designated targets, while units operating from ambush positions destroyed simulated enemy drones and armed helicopters.
