Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Vagharchyan Street

A fatal pedestrian accident occurred today in Yerevan. Around 15:10, a truck struck a female pedestrian on Vagharchyan Street. The driver did not flee the scene, and the emergency medical team that arrived promptly confirmed the pedestrian's death.

According to an Aurora news correspondent on the scene, police and investigative committee employees are currently working at the site. The area has been cordoned off, and access to motorists has been restricted.

An investigation has been launched into the incident, with the identities of the deceased and the driver being clarified. Following the investigator's orders, the vehicle has been moved to the secure area of the police department in Yerevan.
