Mother Assaults 3-Year-Old Son, Throws Him from Bed and Drags Him on the Floor: Investigation Launched

In Yerevan, a 35-year-old foreign mother has physically assaulted her 3-year-old son, throwing him from the bed onto the floor and dragging him. The child has been hospitalized with bodily injuries. This information has been reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the media outlet, the police officers of the Nor Nork Division have identified the victim as a 3-year-old boy, a citizen of Iraq.

The Investigative Committee informed Auroranews.am that, “A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident under Article 195, Section 2, Points 3 and 6 of the Criminal Code (physical violence against a minor by a close relative, partner, or former partner). A forensic medical examination has been assigned. The investigation is ongoing,” the department stated.
