Iranian Embassy Issues Statement in Yerevan

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan has issued a statement regarding the financial and humanitarian assistance offers from many compatriots living in Armenia and their Armenian friends. The statement reads: "In response to numerous calls regarding the provision of financial and humanitarian aid (especially medication), we inform that the Islamic Republic of Iran's 'Red Crescent' organization has expressed its readiness to urgently receive any necessary medicines and medical supplies from individuals, as well as humanitarian organizations, medical equipment suppliers, pharmaceutical companies, and rescue organizations."

According to the Red Crescent's statement, considering the increase in the number of injured individuals and the overcrowding of medical centers, there is an urgent need for medical assistance, vital medications, surgical equipment, serum, and medical supplies. "Therefore, we invite all compatriots and individuals, Armenian organizations, and suppliers to initiate the provision of the aforementioned materials as soon as possible for delivery," the statement concludes.
