One Parent Brutally Beats 1-Year-Old Child, Hospitalized with 'Clinical Death' Diagnosis

Today, on March 16, an extraordinary incident took place in the Ararat region. Shortly after midnight, a child was transported to the "Arabkir" Medical Center in Yerevan with a diagnosis of "clinical death." According to Shamshyan.com, after providing necessary medical assistance for nearly an hour, doctors were able to restore the child's heart function; however, the child remains in extremely critical condition.

The Arabkir Medical Center reported the case to the community police department of the Ararat region's police, where an operational group arrived under the leadership of the department head, Ruben Nersisyan. The police at the scene determined that the child had been brought to the hospital from the Ararat region, after which the information was forwarded to the Masis police department.

Arabkir police established that the hospitalized child is 1 year and 2 months old, and based on operational information, one of the parents severely beat the child. Documentation regarding the incident has been prepared at the Masis police department and has been forwarded to the Ararat regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
