Israel Launches Ground Operation in Lebanon

The 91st Galilee Division of Israel has initiated a limited ground operation in southern Lebanon. According to a statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson's office, the aim is to expand the area for further combat operations.

"The operation includes the destruction of terrorist infrastructure and the elimination of militants operating in the area, with the goal of neutralizing threats and creating an additional layer of security for northern residents," the IDF spokesperson's office stated.

The ground incursion follows air and artillery strikes aimed at suppressing enemy combat capabilities.
