Body of Citizen Found Under Avalanche: Ministry of Emergency Situations

On March 16, at 11:29 AM, the Aragatsotn regional operations management center received a report that a citizen had climbed a mountain in the village of Yeghegnadzor and had lost contact, likely trapped under an avalanche.

Emergency services dispatched a firefighting unit from the regional rescue administration and a rescue team from the special operations center of the Rescue Service to the scene.

As a result of the search operations, rescuers recovered the body of the citizen trapped under the avalanche.
