Pentagon Showcases AI Platform Designed for Warfare

The U.S. Department of Defense has showcased how its artificial intelligence platform designed for warfare operates. The Maven Smart System (MSS) platform integrates military data, analyzes it using artificial intelligence, and helps commanders detect targets faster, plan operations, and manage troops.

Whereas previously the analysis of intelligence data could take hours or days, it is now done in seconds. The Pentagon refers to the MSS system as the brain of the army and a key element for future AI-driven warfare.
