We Have Cleared the Field for Other Political Forces: Kocharian

We have exhausted this government by initiating street battles. About a year and a half ago, 60 percent of people were undecided according to polls; now, that figure is about 25-30 percent. In other words, we have cleared the field for other political forces, even somewhat exhausting ourselves,” stated Robert Kocharian during the 'Big Politics' podcast.

“It’s good that there are others. Previously, 5-6 forces were entering the National Assembly; having only 3 now is not normal. Our efforts and street struggles have created favorable conditions for a change in power, albeit at the cost of somewhat exhausting ourselves. Everyone comes with programs that are good and beautifully presented. The main question is who can actually implement them—a person who has proven capable, a political team that fights, or completely new individuals who have the desire but lack experience and have not demonstrated themselves practically in political struggle.

We need to position ourselves as a force, and I, as a leader, am capable of achieving significant successes in crisis situations, having done so more than once, and I can do it a third time. This should be our message to the voters,” noted the second president.
