Washington Aims to Prevent Iranian Oil Access for Terrorists, Jared Egen
On Fox Business, Jared Egen, the Director of the U.S. Energy Security Council, stated that the United States views the situation surrounding Iranian energy resources as a long-term strategic issue.
According to him, Washington's goal is to ensure that “the massive reserves of Iranian oil do not fall into the hands of terrorists.” Egen emphasized that this pertains to a long-term policy associated with energy resource security and the dynamics of the global oil market.
At the same time, some sources claim that the U.S. has already begun the process of seizing Iranian oil networks and tankers, amounting to around 15 million dollars.
