Israeli Defense Minister Issues Statement

The Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, has addressed Lebanese President Joseph Aoun amid intensified military operations against Hezbollah. He stated that Beirut is failing to fulfill its obligation to disarm the group, which is receiving support from Iran, as stipulated in the ceasefire agreement.

“Act and take measures before we are forced to do more. We will not allow attacks on our homes and our soldiers,” said Katz. He also noted that Lebanon would bear the responsibility in the event of a confrontation. Additionally, Katz emphasized that Israel has no territorial claims over Lebanon.
