Turkey Will Always Support Azerbaijan, Foreign Ministry Says

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the drone attacks from Iran towards Nakhchivan. "We reiterate that attacks directed against third countries in the region, which increase the risk of escalation of war, must be halted as soon as possible. Turkey will continue to support Azerbaijan, as always," the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated in a press release.

Earlier, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi denied Tehran's involvement in the incident related to UAVs near the international airport in Nakhchivan. "Iran does not strike neighboring countries. This incident requires a thorough investigation," the official said.
